Contarction and Abbreviation

Contarction adalah singkatan enclitics ( kata atau persingkatan kata yang tidak bertekanan ) sedangkan Abbreviation adalah bentuk singkatan atau kependekan kata atau ungkapan yang menggantikan atau mewakili keseulurahan kata tersebut.

Contoh Contraction :
- I am disingkat menjadi I'm
- She is disingkat menjadi She's
- You have disingkat menjadi you've
- That is disingkat menjadi That's
Contractions ditandai dengan adanya tanda apostrophe ( ' )
Catatan :
Contraction digunakan hanya digunakan dalam keadaan tidak resmi seoerti percakapan seharihari,pidato dan lain-lain.
